In this “Blue and Grey Abstract oil”, the first layer appears simple and flat as a paper sheet then pop up other dimensions, verticality, and spatiality, that tap into the heart of any viewer whatever his background in art. The painting overall seems thick and shiny like enamel. I first thought it was a ceramic. I reframed it the same way the painter did, using fabric around it with a natural wood frame, This composition uses the subtlety of black lines and some geometric shapes to create an evocative atmosphere. This dynamic art piece expresses joy and freedom. This is the magic of abstraction. Beauty is not the sole measure of value for a work of art.
